The farmhouse of Pérard is located in the Tarn-et-Garonne, a department within the region of the Midi Pyrennes, offering a diversity of landscapes: forests, meadows, farmed hillsides, deep valleys and a rich history - medieval towns, churches and simple stone farmhouses with pigeonniers are typical of this region.

The Gorges of the Aveyron and the picturesque town of St Antonin Noble Val are only a 10 minute drive away.  Don't forget to visit the Ingres museum in Montauban or the Lenoir museum in Montricoux,  A little further you will enjoy a visit to Albi with its famous cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum.  Cordes sur Ciel and St Cirq Lapopie are picturesque medieval villages. The city of Toulouse is only 80kms away.

There are several typical market villages in the region where you will find fresh fruits and vegetables grown in the area and every conceivable product of French gastronomy (foie gras, saucisse and saucissons, pastries, local wines etc...).

There are larger supermarkets in Caussade, Montauban and Villefranche de Rouergue as well as many good restaurants where you can enjoy the pleasures of regional cooking.  We are happy to make recommendations.

The surrounding countryside offers endless adventure and interest and a wide variety of sports are available, such as riding, tennis, canoeing, mountain biking and walking.
